Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Cleveland, OH is recruiting an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Professional to join our EHS Professional Development Program. This developmental role offers rotations and mentoring over 12-18 months to build expertise in EHS management systems and processes.

Candidates must be a U.S. person per ITAR, hold a Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health, Safety or Fire Protection Engineering, and be willing to relocate for program assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in an Environmental, Health, Safety or Fire Protection Engineering.
• ITAR requires U.S. person status; visa sponsorship not available; relocation assistance provided; expected travel <5%.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of EHS policy and procedures with focus on prevention, risk reduction, industrial hygiene, fire protection and environmental compliance.
• Conduct and complete assessments, develop procedures and conduct training.
• Conduct, document and resolve EHS self-assessments.
