Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking graduates for its EHS Development Program in Niles, OH. This full-time, on-site program lasts 12-18 months, with mentorship and rotation across locations to build expertise in safety, industrial hygiene, fire protection, and environmental science.

Participants will learn Howmet's EHS Management Systems, gain hands-on experience, and relocate if needed after completion to a designated operating location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health, Safety or Fire Protection Engineering required.
• ITAR requires U.S. person status; must be legally authorized to work in the United States; relocation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of EHS policy and procedures focusing on prevention, risk reduction, industrial hygiene, fire protection and environmental compliance.
• Conduct and complete assessments, develop procedures and conduct training.
• Conduct, document and resolve EHS self-assessments.
• Learn Howmet EHS Management Systems.
