Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking an EHS Professional to join our Development Program in Niles, OH. The role offers a structured 12–18 month learning path with a designated mentor and exposure to our EHS management systems.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health, Safety or Fire Protection Engineering, and must be eligible to work in the United States with relocation as needed. This on-site program builds readiness for an EHS role within our locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in an Environmental, Health, Safety or Fire Protection Engineering.
• ITAR requires U.S. person status; Citizens/GREEN CARD holders only; visa sponsorship not available.
• Relocation assistance provided; expected travel <5%.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of EHS policy and procedures with focus on prevention, risk reduction, industrial hygiene, fire protection and environmental compliance.
• Conduct and complete assessments, develop procedures and conduct training.
• Conduct, document and resolve EHS self-assessments.
