Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks an EHS Coordinator to coordinate new hire onboarding, manage safety trainings, and support incident investigations. The role emphasizes hazard identification, training, and ensuring safety compliance.

You will conduct risk assessments, train supervision in root cause analysis, and support environmental activities while aligning with corporate safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Safety-related degree/certification (OSHA, NSC, ASSE) is a plus.
• Experience in industrial setting preferred.
• Experience in training/public speaking preferred.
• Familiar with OSHA and federal/state safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety training during new hire onboarding and annually.
• Conduct authorized safety trainings as required.
• Participate in incident investigations and identify corrective actions.
• Provide training for supervision in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Train on behavior based safety and track data.
• Drive participation by plant employees in safety programs.
• Conduct risk assessments and ergonomic reviews as needed.
• Update/upgrade training programs and safety documentation.
