Job summary

Lufthansa Cargo AG is seeking a dedicated EH&S professional to drive workplace safety and environmental responsibility. This role focuses on regulatory compliance, policy development, and training to reduce risk across operations.

The position requires at least 2 years in a manufacturing/industrial setting, a valid work permit for the U.S., and strong English communication skills. Relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing/industrial experience.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• HazWOPER 40-hour certification desirable.
• OSHA 10 and SERP knowledge desirable.
• Familiarity with 49 CFR, DOT HM181, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001 desirable.
• Proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Interface with regulators and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations, permits and related issues.
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety and security policies, plans, and procedures.
• Interface with regulatory agencies while hosting, documenting, responding to and tracking audits and inspections.
• Conduct training on general security, safety, fire hazards, and occupational incident prevention; include PPE program for employees.
• Supports the Security general training needs.
