Job summary

Henry Schein is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety professional to develop and maintain EHS policies and programs across manufacturing and distribution operations in the U.S. The role emphasizes hazard identification, regulatory compliance, and incident investigations with preventive actions.

The position requires strong auditing, training delivery, and organizational skills, plus experience with OSHA standards, DOT, IATA, IMO, and EPA regulations. Travel up to 15–20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with OSHA and OSHA State Plans (Cal/OSHA preferred) and DOT hazardous materials shipping.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, distribution, or manufacturing settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of SDS programs and regulatory compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Inspect manufacturing and distribution operations to identify hazards and ensure policy compliance.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Coordinat e regulatory agency responses and ensure DOT/IATA/IMO compliance for hazardous materials.
• Maintain OSHA records and manage the SDS program access for employees.
• Deliver EHS training and awareness programs across sites.
