Job summary

Lufthansa Cargo AG is seeking a Flight Operations Agent to join our team at a U.S. location. You will coordinate load control, cargo, ramp, and ground handling in a dynamic, international environment.

Key duties include planning load distribution per GOM, preparing flight documents, dispatching messages, and ensuring safety procedures. Relocation assistance may be provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education diploma.
• 3–6 years of experience in related positions desirable (can be substituted with education/experience).
• Experience in airfreight handling and operations preferred.
• Knowledge of local customs regulations desirable.
• Clean driving license.
• Must be willing to work shifts.
• Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
• CV/Resume required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate load control, cargo, ramp, and ground handling activities.
• Plan and optimize load distribution per GOM rules and regulations.
• Prepare flight documents and arrival/departure notifications.
• Dispatch operational messages and conduct post-flight activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.
