Job summary

Skanska USA is seeking an entry-level Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator to support project teams in maintaining safe, compliant work environments. Reporting to the EHS Manager, you will conduct inspections, assist with investigations, and promote safety awareness across projects.

The role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with MS Word/Outlook/PowerPoint, and a BS in Construction Management, EHS, Safety Management, or Engineering, plus relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience identifying safety hazards and recommending controls.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, EHS, Safety Management, Engineering or related field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams in maintaining safe, compliant work environments.
• Administer elements of the EHS program and conduct site inspections.
• Assist with incident investigations and safety documentation.
• Deliver field safety training and promote OSHA compliance and IFE culture.
