Job summary

Skanska USA is seeking a dynamic Assistant EHS Manager to integrate environmental health and safety services into project practices on assigned sites in the United States. You will work with EH&S staff, superintendents, project managers, and executives to ensure compliance and proactive safety culture.

The role is project-based and requires collaborative communication, strong documentation skills, and a NFPA certification. We support a diverse and inclusive workplace with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, safety management, engineering, or equivalent or plus 5 years prior relevant experience.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• 3+ years of experience identifying safety hazards and recommending appropriate controls.
• 3+ years of experience in a safety role with communication across all levels in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Integrate environmental health and safety services into project practices and ensure regulatory compliance on assigned projects.
• Oversee EH&S responsibilities for the assigned project and coordinate with EH&S staff, superintendents, project managers, and executives.
• Ensure NFPA certification requirements are met for the role and project.
