Job summary

Skanska is seeking an Assistant EHS Manager to integrate environmental health and safety practices into project operations. The role is project-based with daily interaction with EH&S staff, superintendents, project managers, and regional EHS leadership.

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management, safety management, engineering, or equivalent, plus several years of safety experience and strong communication skills; NFPA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 5 years relevant experience
• Strong written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• 3+ years identifying safety hazards and recommending controls
• 3+ years communicating with employees at all levels in a construction environment

Responsibilities

• Project-based EHS oversight for assigned project sites
• Interact with EH&S staff, superintendents, project managers, and regional EHS leadership
• Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations on site
