Job summary

PSE Group is seeking an EHS Coordinator in Ohio (Middleburg Heights) to support safety, compliance, and operational reliability. Reporting to the EHS Manager, this role develops processes, manages incidents, and promotes continuous improvement across locations.

The position requires strong problem-solving, self-motivation, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while coordinating with HR, operations, and drivers to maintain regulatory compliance and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or occupational safety and health preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in safety, compliance, distribution, fleet management, or similar roles.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, hazardous materials handling, and EHS principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workers' compensation reports and coordinate with HR and insurers.
• Report and track company auto claims; follow up on repairs and actions.
• Assist in post-accident investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Support regulatory submissions (OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, Tier II) with EHS Manager.
• Maintain SDS management, access, and updates for all locations.
• Assist with EHS audits, hazard reviews, and action tracking.
