Qualifications

  • OSHA 30-Hour required or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to work in active construction areas and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with site teams to develop and implement effective workplace safety programs.
  • Perform routine safety inspections, hazard assessments, and risk analyses to ensure adherence to company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support the investigation of workplace incidents by identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Coordinate and lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions to promote a culture of safety and awareness.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and industry-specific safety standards.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of safety incidents, training activities, and regulatory compliance documentation.
  • Partner with management to establish and uphold safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Organize and conduct emergency response drills; ensure employee preparedness through ongoing training and communication of emergency protocols.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement proactive safety initiatives to mitigate workplace hazards.
  • Continuously monitor and integrate evolving industry regulations and best practices to enhance overall safety performance.

Job description

The EHS Coordinator is responsible for supporting and promoting a culture of health and safety across job sites by assisting in the development, implementation, and enforcement of safety policies, programs, and procedures.
