Job summary

Environmental Air Systems is seeking an EHS Coordinator to promote a safe working environment and lead site safety programs. You will conduct inspections, deliver trainings, and drive corrective actions to maintain OSHA compliance and company standards.

This role requires strong communication, detailed record-keeping, and the ability to work with managers and workers to foster a proactive safety culture in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
  • 5–7 years direct experience functioning in an EHS capacity, ideally within a Manufacturing / Construction / Warehouse environment.
  • ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce site-specific safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections, identify hazards, and drive corrective actions.
  • Deliver safety training, orientations, toolbox talks, and specialized instruction.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, determine root causes, and assist in implementing preventive measures.
  • Maintain compliance documentation, audit readiness, and safety records.
  • Oversee PPE usage, support emergency response planning, and prepare safety performance reports.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through workforce engagement, collaboration, and integration of safety into daily operations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of [5–7] years of direct experience functioning in an EHS capacity, ideally within a [Manufacturing / Construction / Warehouse] environment. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Preferred
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIAL SKILLS
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing or construction environments.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations for manufacturing and construction activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and engage workers at all levels.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with proactive safety mindset
  • OSHA 30 - Manufacturing or Construction (preferred)
  • First Aid / CPR / AED /BBP (preferred)
