Job summary

CVS Health’s Omnicare division seeks an experienced EHS professional to lead environmental, health, and safety compliance across facilities nationwide. You will oversee regulatory programs, waste management, incident investigations, and risk reduction initiatives to protect people and the environment.

This role requires collaboration with operations, facilities, and leadership, frequent auditing, training delivery, and strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a regulated industry, including environmental compliance, waste management, regulatory reporting, audits, and/or investigations.
• 2+ years of experience with OSHA and EPA.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the continental United States.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: ensure OSHA/EPA/DOT and local regulations are followed and monitor regulatory changes.
• Pharmaceutical & Hazardous Waste Management: oversee hazardous waste programs and related reporting.
• Environmental Programs: manage spill prevention, emergency planning, and environmental reporting efforts.
• Safety & Risk Management: conduct safety audits, investigations, CAPAs, and track EHS metrics.
• Training & Employee Engagement: deliver compliance training and promote a safety culture.
• Emergency Preparedness: maintain and coordinate spill Response and continuity plans.
