Job summary

CVS Health’s Omnicare division seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead regulatory compliance, waste management, and environmental programs across facilities. The role emphasizes safety culture, audits, and continuous improvement.

You will travel up to 25% in the continental US, supervise training, incident investigations, and CAPAs, and partner with operations and leadership to maintain compliance and sustainable practices.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a regulated industry.
• 2+ years of experience with OSHA and EPA.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the continental United States.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state/local regs.
• Oversee hazardous waste, pharmaceutical waste, controlled substance waste, and sharps management.
• Manage environmental compliance programs including spill prevention and emergency response.
• Conduct facility safety inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and CAPA closure.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Maintain emergency preparedness, business continuity, and regulatory reporting.
