Job summary

CVS Health’s Omnicare division is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety professional to lead regulatory compliance, waste management and environmental programs across facilities. The role focuses on OSHA/EPA compliance, safety audits, incident investigations and training to foster a proactive safety culture while coordinating emergency preparedness and CAPA activities.

Travel up to 25% within the continental U.S.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a regulated industry.
• 2+ years of experience with OSHA and EPA.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the continental United States.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: ensure OSHA, EPA, DOT and local regulations are followed.
• Pharmaceutical & Hazardous Waste Management: oversee hazardous waste and related programs.
• Environmental Programs: manage spill prevention, reporting and sustainability initiatives.
• Safety & Risk Management: conduct safety audits, investigations and CAPAs.
• Training & Employee Engagement: deliver EHS training and promote safety culture.
• Emergency Preparedness: maintain and coordinate emergency response and continuity plans.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
