Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Integration Manager to lead medium to high complexity EHR and system integration projects in our Madison location. You will guide planning, execution, and maintenance, ensuring regulatory alignment and data exchange improvements.

The role requires knowledge of Epic, HL7, and FHIR, with 3–5 years in healthcare IT management or IT project management. Travel up to 35% may be required, and a Bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience as required for the role.
• 3–5 years of experience in EHR or system integration, healthcare IT management, or IT project management.
• Possession of or ability to obtain Epic Bridges certification within 6 months of hire.
• Strong knowledge of integration solutions (e.g., point-to-point, API) and EHR systems (Epic, Cerner).
• Demonstrated competency in project management and multitasking on multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and HITECH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of EHR and system integration projects, ensuring alignment with goals and regulatory standards.
• Apply established project management practices for scope, schedule, requirements, issues, and risks.
• Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
• Coordinate change requests from original specifications and report progress to stakeholders.
