Job summary

Abbott is seeking a seasoned IT project leader for cancer diagnostics integration. You will oversee complex EHR and system integration projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and regulatory compliance.

You’ll translate technical concepts for cross-functional audiences and report progress to executives. You will collaborate with stakeholders across departments, evaluate new integration tools, and guide product development teams on standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or GED with 4 years of relevant experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in EHR integration, healthcare IT management, or IT project management.
• Epic Bridges certification throughout employment in position.
• Expert knowledge of integration solutions (e.g., point-to-point, API), EHR systems (Epic, Cerner) and HL7/FHIR.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of complex EHR and system integration projects.
• Demonstrate mastery of project management practices for scope, schedule, requirements, issues, and risks.
• Present reports on integration progress, KPIs, and stakeholder updates.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives.
• Evaluate technologies and tools to enhance integration capabilities for future growth.
• Provide guidance on integration standards for product development teams.
• Document and present creative integration solutions to senior management.
• Travel up to 25% between Exact Science locations and up to 10% otherwise.
