Job summary

IntelliBee is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Virginia Department of Health's EHR deployment and ongoing improvements. The role collaborates with clinical, technical, and vendor teams to ensure workflows meet operational needs and regulatory requirements.

You will document requirements, create user stories, and support testing and training materials. The analyst will participate in defining interim solutions and long-term system enhancements, contributing to go-live activities and user

Qualifications

• Experience providing application support in healthcare.
• Proficient in documenting requirements and enhancement opportunities.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem solving abilities.
• Understanding of clinical, pharmaceutical, and patient billing workflows.
• Experience with structured testing cycles.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Teams, SharePoint, Visio.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive support to EHR users across Local Health Districts.
• Triage, troubleshoot, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Monitor and maintain key EHR workflows, processes, and procedures.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand operational needs, evaluate current EHR capabilities, identify gaps, and recommend solutions.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements.
• Develop user stories and acceptance criteria for Agile documentation.
• Support functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical, clinical, and business teams.
• Produce user documentation, job aids, and training materials.
