Job summary

Computer Aid is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to help advance our EHR initiatives in Oklahoma City. You will work with project teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and document needs across clinical, operational, and data domains.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, creating testable specifications, and ensuring alignment with workflows, quality controls, and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience as a business analyst.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, healthcare administration or related field.
• Experience in requirements gathering, prioritization, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience creating executive reports, process maps, workflows, SOPs, and risk analyses.
• Preferred: federal/state government or healthcare sector experience; Lean Six Sigma or related certification; MBA/MHA.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Project Manager and stakeholders to develop a comprehensive understanding of organizational needs.
• Elicit, analyze, document, prioritize, and maintain requirements for EHR initiatives, enhancements, and related capabilities.
• Translate stakeholder needs, workflows, challenges, and outcomes into clear, testable, and solution-neutral requirements.
• Distinguish underlying business and clinical needs from current-system limitations, practices, or assumptions about a technology solution.
• Identify shared requirements, program-specific variations, dependencies, and opportunities for standardization.
• Facilitate discussions to reconcile differences and document decisions or exceptions.
• Facilitate stakeholder reviews of requirements to confirm accuracy, priority, and alignment with workflows.
• Support validation of configured functionality through workflow review, UAT, defects, and readiness confirmations.
• Document current- and future-state workflows and support process maps, business rules, and gap analyses.
• Coordinate BA activities with the Project Manager, plans, reviews, testing, and deliverables.
• Communicate status, unresolved decisions, dependencies, risks, and issues to the PM.
• Provide BA support across concurrent EHR initiatives.
