Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage electronic health record (EHR) processes. You will analyze EHR completion, validate patient information, and liaise with physician offices to ensure accurate transcription and timely chart completion.

In this role, you will transform paper records into a comprehensive EHR, monitor quality metrics, and educate clinicians on completion requirements while maintaining strict confidentiality of health information.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes electronic health records (EHR) for completion according to policies and standards.
• Validates patient identification and uses EMPI as needed.
• Accesses, inputs and retrieves information from multiple computer systems.
• Identifies and monitors reports for deficiencies and assigns to physicians for completion.
• Educates physicians and staff on completion requirements and EHR navigation.
• Transforms paper records into an EHR and ensures service levels and QA are maintained.
• Maintains confidentiality of protected health information in compliance with Corewell Health policies.
