Job summary

The Wichita Tribal Enterprises (WTE), a Quivera Enterprises subsidiary, is seeking an experienced Project Manager II to support a large-scale Federal Health IT program modernizing the EHR for the Indian Health Service (IHS).

The PM II will coordinate with Federal Leads, project teams, SMEs, PMO Operations, and other vendors to plan, schedule, manage risks, and ensure initiatives align with program priorities.

Qualifications

• PMP certification required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6–10 years of project management experience.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing and maintaining detailed project plans and schedules.
• Strong understanding of dependencies, milestones, risks, issues, and change management.
• Ability to facilitate stakeholder meetings and drive action items to completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication across project teams and leadership.
• Ability to organize complex information and translate input into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate multiple projects and cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution.
• Develop, baseline, and maintain detailed project schedules using a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Define activities, milestones, sequencing, dependencies, predecessors, successors, and timelines with Federal Leads and project teams.
• Monitor progress against schedules and milestones; identify delays and downstream impacts.
• Identify risks, issues, schedule conflicts, and gaps; develop mitigation approaches and escalation when appropriate.
• Facilitate recurring project and stakeholder meetings; prepare agendas and track actions.
• Translate discussions into clear project plans and schedule updates.
• Coordinate across project teams, SMEs, PMO Operations, and other Project Managers for cross-functional dependencies.
• Maintain alignment with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and manage change control when needed.
• Monitor scope and timelines to minimize creep and stay aligned with objectives.
• Provide timely visibility into project status, milestones, risks, and schedule performance.
• Build relationships with Federal stakeholders, client leadership, and cross-functional partners.
