Job summary

Aptive is seeking a Health IT Program Manager to support IHSC HITU in overseeing EHR modernization and enterprise IT programs nationwide. You will direct program planning, governance, and performance management to align with regulatory obligations and executive needs.

The role requires expert enterprise Health IT knowledge, risk management across dependencies, and the ability to translate status into executive insight for Government decision-making.

Qualifications

• PM experience in enterprise Health IT programs.
• PMP certification required.
• Expert knowledge of EHR modernization, analytics, infrastructure, and solutions development.
• Understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, and federal IT security requirements.
• Experience leading large-scale, multi-component Health IT programs.
• Strong strategic planning with integrated roadmaps and milestones.
• Ability to establish program governance and executive reporting.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across multiple offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of enterprise EHR and Health IT programs across IHSC components.
• Develop and maintain integrated program roadmaps, schedules, dependencies, and milestones.
• Establish governance structures, executive briefings, steering forums, and decision tracking.
• Identify and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies with mitigation strategies.
• Oversee performance metrics, status reporting, and executive dashboards.
• Support acquisition planning, contract execution, and contractor performance oversight with COR.
• Ensure activities align with federal IT policy, security requirements, and healthcare regulations.
• Advise senior leadership on status, tradeoffs, resource needs, and strategic impacts.
