Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an EHR Application Analyst II to support design, configuration, and implementation of organization-wide EHR applications. You will collaborate with multiple teams and customers to ensure efficient development and deployment of functionality across Ambulatory, Home Health/Hospice and multiple EHR modules.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records implementation and support is required (1–3 years preferred).
• Ability to analyze large data sets effectively and efficiently.
• Vendor certification for assigned applications/modules is preferred or achievable within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Defines, documents, builds and maintains EHR application content.
• Creates functional specification documents and validates content with business owner.
• Completes projects with moderate supervision and demonstrates project-management skills.
• Escalates issues that may affect deliverables.
• Maintains certifications for EHR applications and stays current with enhancements.
• Acts as liaison between IT, customers and vendors and participates in cross-functional meetings.
• Prepares and maintains documentation including analyses, design, programming, and user guides.
• Provides on-call/after-hours support as required.
• Mentors junior colleagues in application knowledge.
