Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of EHR implementation/support experience or 2-5 years of related operational experience with EHR applications.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and interpret results.
• Vendor certification or proficiency in assigned applications; 6 months to obtain certification.
• Experience with web-based applications and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Defines, documents, builds and maintains EHR application content.
• Creates functional specifications and validates content with business owners.
• Completes projects with moderate supervision and develops project management skills.
• Escalates issues affecting deliverables.
• Maintains certifications and stays updated with new application functionality.
• Acts as liaison between IT, customers and vendors; participates in meetings across departments.
• Prepares and maintains analysis, design, programming, procedures and user guides.
• Provides on-call/after-hours support as required.
• Mentors junior colleagues in application knowledge.
