Job summary

American Unit, Inc. is seeking an experienced Epic Application Analyst with a focus on behavioral health to build and optimize navigators, templates, and workflows within Epic.

The role includes implementing treatment planning, configuring episodes and orders, and ensuring compliance with consent and 42 CFR Part 2 requirements. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Epic experience, Certification in ClinDoc and Ambulatory, and a track record of successful go-lives across multiple behavioral health

Qualifications

• Current Epic certification in ClinDoc and Ambulatory.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Epic Application Analyst.
• At least 2 years of behavioral health Epic build experience.
• Minimum 2 completed Epic implementations/go-lives.
• Experience with behavioral health documentation and clinical workflows.
• Ability to work independently and support production troubleshooting.

• Experience with behavioral health documentation and clinical workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Behavioral Health Epic accreditation.
• Experience across outpatient, crisis, residential, inpatient, and SUD settings.
• County or public-sector behavioral health experience.
• Knowledge of 42 CFR Part 2.
• Understanding of California Medi-Cal behavioral health documentation and billing.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Nursing, Behavioral Health, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
