Job summary

Clopay Corporation seeks an EH&S Technician II at our Troy, Ohio facility. The role focuses on implementing safety and environmental programs, conducting training, and coordinating inspections to meet regulatory requirements.

You will investigate incidents, maintain records, and support programs like PPE, STOP, LOTO, and hearing conservation, reporting to the Director of EHS. 2+ years in manufacturing and EHS required.

Qualifications

• 2+ yrs of manufacturing experience.
• 2+ yrs of EHS experience.
• Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc…).
• Demonstrated regulatory knowledge and skills in both safety and environmental reporting.
• General knowledge of manufacturing environment and equipment.
• General knowledge of EHS requirements and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Implement Safety Training Program at Clopay as directed by the Director of EHS, including training delivery and material development.
• Support Safety Program implementation, including policy/procedure creation and workplace inspections.
• Support Environmental Program implementation, including policy/procedure creation and inspections.
• Perform accident investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain safety and environmental records and prepare periodic reports for management.
• Manage programs such as Training, PPE, STOP, Confined Space, LOTO, Hearing Conservation, and assist with other safety programs.
