Job summary

States Manufacturing Corporation is seeking an EHS Technician to support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, and Safety programs. You will perform advanced EHS tasks, conduct audits and inspections, lead incident investigations, and guide operations to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and basic environmental compliance requirements.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
• Safety certifications such as OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, First Aid/CPR, or similar.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular facility safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Maintain and update EHS documentation and regulatory reports.
• Assist with regulatory compliance programs (Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tagout, Respiratory Protection, PPE, Machine Guarding).
• Support environmental compliance activities including waste management and chemical handling.
• Monitor corrective actions and drive completion.
• Lead or support incident investigations and document root causes.
• Maintain incident logs, trends, and metrics for continuous improvement.
• Assist with emergency response activities and drills.
• Conduct or assist with EHS-related training for new hires and refresher courses.
• Provide coaching on safe work practices across shifts and departments.
