Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Health and Safety Program Management professional who will safeguard 15,000+ associates across 200+ locations and lead the EH&S programs enterprise-wide.

The role focuses on identifying gaps, developing solutions, and implementing systems related to safety and health. It requires a self-starter with strong attention to detail, adaptability, and a collaborative approach with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• 3+ years in safety roles with EH&S program development/implementation.
• Credentials such as ASP/CSP, SMS, OSHA 30, etc.
• Experience in managing corporate-level safety programs.
• Experience implementing health and safety management platforms.
• Ability to write Environmental, Health and Safety programs and policies.
• Strong organizational, project and program management skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence at all levels.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Safe & Secure departments and business partners to reduce risk while meeting business needs.
• Use data to identify concerns and monitor program performance.
• Stay informed on regulatory changes and develop world-class processes.
• Assist in developing and managing information systems for EHS recordkeeping.
• Meet deadlines and monitor progress of projects/programs.
• Establish clear communication with partners on progress and needs.
• Serve as EHS SME and work with field team to implement programs remotely.
• Contribute to creating a safer environment and drive continuous improvements.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects; handle other duties as assigned.
