Job summary

The Neil Jones Food Company in Firebaugh, CA is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to lead EH&S systems at the TomaTek plant. You will develop, implement and maintain programs ensuring compliance with corporate, federal, state and local requirements.

You will provide guidance to plant leadership, collaborate with corporate EH&S, and help deploy best practices. The role requires strong communication, 3+ years in EH&S, and ability to pass drug tests and background checks;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of EH&S experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent written and oral communication; bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate EH&S management systems to ensure plant objectives and compliance.
• Provide consultation to plant leadership on environmental, health and safety programs.
• Collaborate with Corporate EH&S to design, implement and audit best practices.
• Implement environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
