Job summary

The Neil Jones Food Company is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist in Firebaugh, CA to lead the development and maintenance of EH&S management systems ensuring facility objectives are met and compliant with corporate, federal, state, and local requirements.

You will provide guidance to plant leadership, advise on EH&S management and collaborate with Corporate to design, audit, and deploy best practices across projects, including the TomaTek plant in Firebaugh.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, Engineering or related field preferred.
• At least 3 years experience in EH&S, manufacturing preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Microsoft Office applications experience; Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation to plant leadership on environmental, health and safety programs and compliance.
• Advise plant management on EH&S management system and compliance issues.
• Communicate goals and promote deployment of plant-level EH&S systems and processes.
• Work with other facilities and Corporate to design and audit EH&S best practices for projects.
• Implement environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
