Job summary

Daybreak Foods is seeking a Sanitation Lead for our egg-processing facility. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing equipment on a daily basis after processing shifts, ensuring GMPs are followed and food safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of sanitation experience in a food plant, leadership experience, and the ability to train and coach a sanitation crew. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus in this environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• GMP knowledge or experience in food processing is desirable.
• Minimum 2 years of directly related sanitation experience.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Training for egg-specific equipment provided in house.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble processing equipment daily.
• Perform CIP on tankers, silos, and product lines.
• Maintain CIP chemical levels and monitor titrations.
• Lead sanitation crew and assign daily tasks.
• Ensure GMPs and safety policies are followed.
• Document procedures and report progress to Maintenance/Processing Manager.
• End of day shutdown of building and equipment.
• Conduct post-sanitation inspections.
