Job summary

Daybreak Foods is seeking a Processing Lead to supervise the breaking room operations, including breaking room functions, transfer room workflows, and related equipment handling. You will ensure adherence to GMPs, safety practices, and daily documentation while coaching a production crew.

The ideal candidate has prior food plant supervisory experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to communicate effectively in English (Spanish desirable).

Qualifications

• Must be able to lead and coach a team in a food processing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for operating and maintaining equipment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; excellent written and verbal communication required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee breaking room operations and related processing lines.
• Supervise crew, delegate duties, and provide coaching and feedback.
• Ensure GMP/SOPs and safety procedures are followed; maintain documentation for USDA/FSIS.
• Coordinate with management and other departments on daily schedules and product flow.
• Monitor quality, sanitation, and equipment performance; implement improvements as needed.
