Job summary

Daybreak Foods is seeking a Sanitation Technician to clean and sanitize egg processing equipment on a rotating schedule. You will disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment daily, handling chemicals and high-pressure cleaners with care.

The role requires adherence to GMPs and accurate record-keeping while supporting continuous improvement. You should be able to work independently, communicate effectively, and be willing to learn related duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food plant sanitation role is highly desirable.
• Training for egg-specific equipment would be provided.
• Familiarity with GMP practices is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn multiple related jobs.
• English and Spanish skills are highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation methods and chemical handling.
• Knowledge of process control systems and food safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble processing equipment daily.
• Work with chemicals, high-pressure cleaning equipment, manual scrubbing, hose use, and simple tools.
• Maintain training on equipment, chemicals and MSDSs.
• Review sanitation chemicals with supervisor including use and mixing.
• Maintain records and paperwork.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Maintain equipment and keep it in good repair.
• Other duties as assigned.
