Job summary

The State of Indiana’s Department of Child Services seeks an Electronic Funds Transfer Processor to review, research, and accurately enter child support payments from non-custodial parents, employers, and intergovernment agencies. This onsite role in Indianapolis supports internal and external partners and the employer hotline with payment inquiries.

The salary starts at $39,000 and may commensurate with education and experience.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
• Strong written and oral communication; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Field calls from EFT Employer Hotline and emails to assist employers and county partners with questions about EFT payments.
• Process and research payments through the Fairfax system to support payroll and child support administration.
• Assist callers with employer online payment systems and portals.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, and payment processing workflows.
• Support the daily reporting and resolution tasks related to payments.
