Republic Services, Inc. seeks an Operator – Heavy Equipment to safely operate heavy equipment at recycling facilities, landfills, or transfer stations, including loading, spreading, and compacting waste or soil as directed.

The role requires attention to safety, proper inspections, and maintaining efficient operations. Essential duties include pre/post-operation checks, monitoring equipment condition, completing reports, and adhering to safety standards while keeping work areas clean and

Mansioni

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Safely and efficiently operate equipment such as forklift, excavator, bulldozer, and front-end loader.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and ensure equipment is ready to operate to minimize downtime.
• Perform minor servicing on equipment and refer major issues to Maintenance Shop.
• Complete Equipment Condition Reports and report repairs as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and keep the shop clean and organized after each shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
