We are seeking an instructor for the Effectiveness In A Remote Environment Training program, a contract position aligned with the GSA Labor Category: Training Design Specialist / Instructor Level II. The role will support the United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) Civilian Training Services under a 1099 or potential W‑2 arrangement, with hybrid on‑site and virtual delivery across the Southeast U.S. (Fort Bragg, NC).
JOB OVERVIEW
Provide remote learning solutions that strengthen workforce readiness, leadership effectiveness, and mission performance for DOD/Military customers. The instructor will deliver, design, and enhance training focused on virtual communication, collaboration, accountability, and productivity.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Develop lesson plans and facilitation materials.
- Lead classroom and virtual instruction, including assessments, coaching, and feedback.
- Update curriculum based on survey data and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with LMS platforms and audio/visual technologies to deliver interactive experiences.
- Provide 1‑day instructor‑led sessions and virtual engagements as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of professional training, facilitation, instructional delivery, or military/civilian workforce development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; instructional certifications preferred.
- Experience supporting DOD/Military or related sectors is highly desirable.
- Functional knowledge of remote work strategies, virtual communication, and distributed team productivity.
