Qualifications

  • EFDA Certification or on the job training required per state requirements.
  • Radiography licensure for respective state requirements.
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates.
  • CPR Certification is required.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of dental charting software and digital x-rays with the ability to learn new programs as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists with charting, fillings, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
  • Perform expanded duties per state regulations and compliance.
  • Support procedures such as fillings, temporary crowns, suture removal, and fluoride applications.
  • Record and review patient health history; enter treatment plans in dental software.
  • Maintain accurate chart entries and signatures as directed by the doctor.

Pay Range $34+ dependent upon experience
Smiling from Open to Close

Monday 7:45am-6:00pm (1 hour lunch)

Tuesday-Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm (1 hour lunch)

Friday 7:45am-1:00pm

Responsibilities
Skills Required to Make a Great "Impression" on Our Team
  • Assists doctors which includes but is not limited to charting, placement of fillings, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.
  • Able to perform expanded duties following state regulations and compliance.
  • Assists in clinical procedures and treatment such as: placing amalgam or composite fillings, adaptation of temporary crowns, removing surgical sutures, and applying topical fluoride treatments. Limitations due apply per state requirements.
  • Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction and assures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
  • Enters and updates patient treatment plans at the direction of the treating
