Job summary

Nisga'a Tek, LLC is seeking an EFB Manager to oversee electronic flight bag programs, ensure compliance with security directives, and coordinate with wings and EFB stakeholders. The role requires strong IT and aviation publications experience, plus the ability to operate under pressure.

The position involves managing hardware and software, coordinating with leadership, and maintaining accurate records and publications to support aircrew operations across the EFB ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Secret clearance or active clearance
• Proficient with iOS and MacOS; 2+ years IT/device management experience
• 2+ years with Microsoft Office suite and ability to manage SharePoint and Teams

Responsibilities

• Manage EFB program in accordance with governing documents and configuration baselines
• Act as Wing EFB manager and liaison with program offices; maintain appointment letters and records
• Maintain and coordinate maintenance, upgrades, patching, and restoration for EFB hardware and software
• Coordinate with Stan/Eval and squadron managers to ensure up-to-date publications and flight information
• Administer EFB systems using MDM tools; manage user accounts, device audits, and security
• Manage Foreflight accounts and educate subordinate EFB managers on configuration for worldwide use
• Oversee commercial internet services to support EFB connectivity and liaise with ISP for repairs
• Work with Resource Advisor to establish sustainment costs and inventory for EFB equipment
• Serve as equipment custodian; track devices and decommission obsolete equipment
• Distribute and inventory hardware refresh; enroll devices into DEP and MDM
• Identify EFB requirements and communicate with leadership and AFRSC/A3T leadership
• Utilize Teams and SharePoint for announcements, training, and collaboration
• Contribute to future EFB capability discussions and planning
• Generate EFB audit and sustainment reports as required
• Perform Stan Eval administrative duties
