Lewiston Public Schools is seeking Educational Technicians I–III to support the RISE, FLS, and Day Treatment programs under the Special Education department. The role requires assisting the Special Education Teacher with instruction, managing IEPs and PBSPs, and maintaining data and materials for individualized student support.

The position demands five days per week attendance, with flexibility across locations and appropriate behavior management.

Formación

• Education and experience requirements include a High School Diploma, 60–90 college credits with Education Technician Certification.
• BHP certification and TCIS training are required or provided.
• Available and able to work five days per week per Lewiston Public Schools schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate 1:1, 1:2, and small-group instruction meeting needs of complex learners.
• Implement and follow each student’s IEP and PBSP.
• Use de-escalation strategies throughout the day.
• Prepare materials and set up the classroom and individual student areas.
• Collect relevant data and complete data entry.
• Operate standard school equipment and follow daily schedules.
• Provide constant attention during direct services and ensure safety.
