Job summary

Lewiston Public Schools seeks an Ed Tech II/III at Farwell Elementary School to support a Special Education Teacher in delivering services described in students’ IEPs and PBSPs within the RISE/Day Treatment programs.

The role includes 1:1 and small group instruction, de‑escalation support, data collection, materials preparation, and collaboration with teachers, staff and families. A full‑time schedule comes with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Three years postsecondary education or 90 credit hours.
• Education Technician III certification required.
• School Based BHP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate 1:1, 1:2 and small group instruction.
• Implement IEP and PBSP and de-escalation strategies.
• Assist with classroom setup and prepare materials.
• Collect data and enter it accurately.
• Assist with displays and maintain classroom materials.
• Operate standard school equipment.
