Job summary

The Public Schools of Northborough-Southborough seek an Educational Support Professional (ESP) for a long-term substitute at Woodward Elementary. The ESP will provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities under the supervision of the student support services team.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction, collaborating with general education staff, monitoring progress, and supporting IEP goals.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (or higher) or passing a formal assessment measuring ability to assist teachers in reading, writing, and math.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with IEPs under supervision.
• Provide instruction in or out of the classroom in small groups or co-taught settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and student support team.
• Monitor and report student progress weekly.
• Participate in weekly student support team meetings and PD.
• Implement daily lessons per IEP and behavioral plans.
• Assist in data collection to support IEP goals.
• Prepare instructional materials with the team.
