Job summary

The Public Schools of Northborough-Southborough Educational Support Professional (ESP) is a long-term substitute in Preschool. The ESP will provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities under the supervision of the Student Support Services team.

Responsibilities include delivering adapted instruction, supporting in various settings, coordinating with general educators, monitoring progress, and attending weekly data reviews and planning meetings.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher, or passing a formal assessment.
• Experience supporting classroom teachers in reading, writing, and mathematics may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with IEPs under supervision.
• Provide instruction in individual, small group, or co-taught settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and SS team to implement accommodations.
• Monitor and report student progress weekly to the SS team.
• Attend weekly SS team meetings for data review and programming updates.
• Participate in professional development as required.
• Implement daily lessons and any behavioral plans per IEP guidance.
• Assist in data collection to support IEP goals and objectives.
• Prepare specialized instructional materials as needed.
