The Public Schools of Northborough and Southborough are seeking an Educational Support Professional (ESP) at Proctor Elementary to provide specialized instruction under the Student Support Services team. Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher; or taking and passing a formal assessment that measures knowledge to assist classroom teachers in reading, writing, and math.
• Ability to support students with disabilities and follow IEPs.
• Willingness to learn district instructional methods and use available tech tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with disabilities as outlined in the IEP and under supervision.
• Provide instruction in or out of the classroom in individual, small group, or co-taught settings.
• Work with general education teachers and the student support services team to implement accommodations and curriculum.
• Monitor and report student progress weekly to the student support services team.
• Attend weekly data review meetings and share concerns with the team.
• Implement daily lessons under supervision and carry out IEP behavioral plans as needed.
• Assist in data collection to support IEP goals and develop specialized instructional materials.
• Prepare to start and end instruction on schedule to maintain consistent programming.
• Perform tasks as directed by building principal.
• Assist with toileting, recess, lunch, transportation support as outlined in IEPs.
