Job summary

The Public Schools of Northborough-Southborough seek an Educational Support Professional (ESP) for Algonquin Regional High School as a long-term substitute. The ESP will support students with disabilities under the Student Support Services team, delivering specialized instruction and collaborating with teachers to ensure continuity of programming.

Required is an Associate degree or higher, or equivalent assessment demonstrating ability to assist teachers in reading, writing, and math.

Qualifications

• Associate’s (or higher) degree; or passing a formal assessment measuring knowledge/ability to assist classroom teachers in reading, writing, and mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specially designed instruction to students with IEPs under supervision.
• Provide instruction in or out of the classroom in individual or small group settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and the student support services team.
• Monitor student progress and report weekly to the team.
• Participate in weekly data review meetings and planning.
