Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students and schools. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, share findings with families and district personnel, and collaborate with ARD committees to craft targeted, evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active license to practice as an Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Bilingual proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.
• Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
• Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
