Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active Texas licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify therapy needs.
• Share evaluation results with parents and district staff clearly.
• Collaborate with ARD committee to design evidence-based interventions.
• Deliver therapy services or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants to meet IEP goals.
• Maintain detailed student progress records and adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences to advocate for students.
