Job summary

Candor is seeking an Occupational Therapist to empower students and schools. Master’s in OT and active OT license required. CPR certification needed. Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in OT from an accredited program.
• Active Occupational Therapist license.
• CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate needs and determine students' OT needs and eligibility for services.
• Communicate evaluation findings to parents, educators, and other stakeholders with clear recommendations.
• Develop evidence-based interventions with the IEP team to promote participation and skill development.
• Provide direct therapy or supervise COTAs in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor progress and maintain detailed records to adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions to advocate for students.
