Qualifications

• Advanced degree in computer science, information systems, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Experience leading technology initiatives in an educational setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of data privacy and security practices

• Develop and articulate a forward-thinking vision for the district's IT systems that aligns with educational goals.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and community members to identify opportunities for technological innovation.
• Streamline processes and optimize resource allocation through technology solutions.
• Oversee development, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT infrastructure to support educational excellence.
• Leverage data analytics to inform strategic decisions and improve student outcomes.
• Develop and manage the IT budget with district leaders and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Lead cybersecurity efforts and develop policies on technology use and data privacy.
• Stay informed about emerging tech trends in education and technology.
• Attend Board meetings as a resource to the Superintendent and Board.
