ROCORI Public School District in Minnesota seeks a technology assistant to support the Director of Technology. The role focuses on deployment, implementation, and maintenance of district and building-level technology, including hardware, software, AV, printing, and telephone networks.

The position serves multiple sites—High School/Middle School, Education Facility, Cold Spring Elementary, Richmond, and Rockville—and requires a 12-month commitment with a competitive hourly rate and benefits such

Qualifications

• Minimum HS diploma required.
• Strong computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work with deadlines.
• Ability to perform both general and specialized tasks with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Technology with deployment, implementation, and maintenance of district and building-level technology.
• Support Windows and MacOS, Office, Smart Notebook, Skyward SIS, and portable devices.
• Provide hardware troubleshooting for PCs and Macs, projectors, Smartboards, scanners, wireless, and printing.
• Assist with basic networking and patch cable creation; troubleshoot at a desktop/laptop level.
